Understanding the value of your business is vital for making decisions. This is no longer reserved for the big companies. All good business owners should know and monitor the wealth contained in their business, just as you would with your share portfolio. We prepare valuations of your business or ownership to assist with a variety of purposes. Our business valuations will help if you are buying a business or preparing for changes in ownership, setting a price to sell your business, or planning to exit your business. Business valuations can also be crucial when making commercial investment decisions as well as planning for tax and capital gains tax. We provide fixed-price business valuation services catered to your needs. All valuations are prepared in accordance with APES 225 Valuation Services.

We can provide outsourced business valuation services for your clients to ensure you maintain your reputation, protect your professional indemnity, and achieve additional fees in the process. If you want to know how to calculate the value of your client’s business, contact us to provide an independent assessment of your approach. We are not tax agents or practising accountants, therefore we are not interested in poaching clients, just helping you support yours.

We have business valuation services tailored for commercial and tax lawyers and legal advisers. Our business valuations can assist with commercial disputes between shareholders, estate distribution, tax disputes (CGT, thin capitalisation, transfer pricing, market value substitution), as well as minority and majority shareholder matters. Our business valuations can also offer plain English exit mechanisms for shareholder agreements, expert witness (valuation services only), and shadow expert reviews of independent valuations. We are also available to assist with family law matters on a case-by-case basis.

We specialise in valuation services for large private and ASX-listed companies. Our specialised business valuation services can assist companies with purchase price allocations (business combinations), validation of pre-acquisition EPS impact, and identification and valuation of intangible assets for financial reporting or tax consolidation purposes. We also have substantial experience in valuations for tax consolidation purposes. We have worked with a range of large, national, and multinational companies across a range of industries.
